loom knitting patterns

Let me start by introducing you to the five stitch types that I believe are at the very heart of knitting! Let's start with some basic patterns.

Knitting yarns do not have to be expensive. The two stitches are related in that a knit stitch seen from one side of the fabric appears as a purl stitch on the other side. Plenty of finished knitting projects never use more than a single colour of yarn, but there are many ways to work in multiple colors.

It is very easy to knit a sock, in the sock-knitting machine. More resilient yarns are more forgiving of irregularities in tension; highly twisted yarns are sometimes difficult to knit, whereas untwisting yarns can lead to split stitches, in which not all of the yarn is knitted into a stitch. A good place to start particularly if you are relatively new to knitting to look for patterns is the yarn skein, which comes wrapped and nearly every one of these will have a pattern on it.

You will have only one new stitch from two. Get knitting!
