knit needles ooo

As we know, all knitted fabrics are made using two basic stitches, knit and purl. As we know, all knitted fabrics are made using two basic stitches, knit and purl.

The number of rows should be counted when the carrier goes around the cylinder, while knitting. Knitted garments became fashionable for the wealthy upper class, and silk gloves and stockings were highly prized. A second potential difficulty is that the knitted piece will slide off the tapered end of the needles when unattended; this is prevented by "point protectors" that cap the tapered ends.

In the more complex double knitting, two or more yarns alternate repeatedly within one row and all the yarns must be carried along the row, as seen in Fair Isle sweaters. Smaller items, such as socks and hats, are usually knit in one piece on double-pointed needles or circular needles. In knitting you are often counting your stitches and focusing on nothing more than the stitches being created and the count itself.
