baby blanket knit pattern

Knitting consists of loops called stitches pulled through each other. I wanted to set out some basic knitting instructions as a refresher so here it is.

The diameter affects the size of stitches, which affects the gauge of the knitting and the elasticity of the fabric. Remember to use the knowledge of the yarn supplier so that you can get the best yarn for the job you have lined up. Different sizes of socks can be made in the sock-knitting machine.

This is my version of instructions for the two basic knitting stitches but I have found that it is hard to use a few written instructions. Once you learn these two stitches you will find everything else is just a variation of the knit and purl stitches. These details are regarding yarns weight, length, dye lot, fiber content, washing instructions not only this it will give suggestion, about which needles are to be used and the gauge.

While knitting patterns can offer suggestions for design and color ideas, it is ultimately up to the artist to decide what the final product what look like. Knit it like you would knit any stitch.
