knit or crochet romper pattern

When I have spent hours working on knitting a sweater, I want to make sure it looks as good after a dozen washes as it did the day I was knitting it. Knitting consists of loops called stitches pulled through each other.

Thus, a simple way to change gauge is to use different needles, which is the basis of uneven knitting. Heathered yarns contain small amounts of fibre of different colours, while tweed yarns may have greater amounts of different coloured fibres. In some cases, a stitch may be deliberately left unsecured by a new stitch and its wale allowed to disassemble.

Once you learn these two stitches you will find everything else is just a variation of the knit and purl stitches. The earliest examples of this technique are thought to have been knitted around 1850. For this reason, knitting was initially developed for garments that must be elastic or stretch in response to the wearer's motions, such as socks and hosiery.

Different yarns and knitting needles may be used to achieve different end products, by giving the final piece different color, texture, weight or integrity. Dpns are typically used for circular knitting, especially smaller tube-shaped pieces such as sleeves, collars, and socks; usually one needle is active while the others hold the remaining active stitches.
